Page numbering in Word
Find the page number option from the Insert tab on the top bar of the Microsoft Word.
The list opens after clicking on it, which includes four locations for page numbering. The first option is the number of pages with the top position and the second is the number of pages with the bottom position of the page. The third option also places the page number in its corner. The last option places the number of pages in the current location of the type cursor.
Select the location next to the previous list. A new list opens that displays a variety of graphics formats for your page numbers and you can choose one item as desired.
The number of pages will be placed in the header or footer or in the selected place. You can double-click on the header or footer to edit these items. Also, you can go to the page number and choose the format page number to make the settings.
You will see the following window. In this window, you can specify the format of the numbering, display or hide the number of chapters, and the number or letter of the numbering starts. Then, click ok!
You can add a semi-line to the footer to make the page appearance beautiful. Double click on footer and insert a line in it. It will apply to all pages.
