Sometimes you like to show the main subject matter of the photo more prominent or more important. Now, the main subject can be a famous and lovely character, or an object or any other entity. We’re going to teach you how to make attractive images with the effect of light on the picture and brilliant part of it. In this photo, we can give a beautiful picture by illuminating the athlete. In the following tutorial, you will find that the image of a footballer has finally become attractive after applying the effect. In fact, you will know how to outline a shape in Photoshop.
Step 1: Copy from the Background layer
Open the photo in Photoshop, the first thing we need to do is copy the background layer.
You can copy the background layer by going to the Layer menu at the top of the screen, selecting New, and then selecting Layer via Copy.
We currently have a copy of the background layer:
Step 2: Choose the main subject of your photo.
Separate a soccer player using the tool (Lasso Tool, Pen Tool, etc.).
Step 3: Copy selected part and move to a new layer
Copy from the selected part. To do this, go to the Layer tab and then select New> Layer via Copy. We currently have a new layer called “Layer 1”.
Step 4: Apply stroke style layer
Click the Layer Styles icon at the bottom of the layers palette. Select Stroke from the bottom of the list:
Apply the following settings:
You should now have a white stroke around the main subject of the photo:
Step 5: Add a shiny outer style layer
Right click on effects and select blending option.
Click on Outer Glow. Apply the following settings:
Increase opacity up to 100%, and then in the elements section, increase Spread options to around 6% and size to around 30 pixels.
You will see:
Step 6: Increase the color of the main part with Hue/saturation
The effect of the original layout is now complete, but let’s give it the hue/saturation. We want to make sure, though, that our adjustment layer only affects the main subject, not the entire image, so we go to “Layer 1,” which is the layer containing our main subject. Click on the New Layer Setup icon at the bottom of the Layers palette. Select Hue/Saturation from the list:
Before doing this, first, select the shift + ctrl + n keys. Directly under the option name, select the Use Previous Layer Create Clipping Mask option. If you choose, the setting layer means that with the layer setting up is only our main issue is affected in Layer 1. Click inside the box to select this option, and then click the OK button to exit the dialog box:
As soon as we exit the dialog box, we’ll go to the Hue/Saturation dialog box. Apply the following settings.
Set the Saturation to 35.
Step 7: “Gaussian Blur” filter
Click “Background copy” in the Layers palette to select. We intend to darken the rest of the photo and to do this, we use the Gaussian Blur filter. Select the blur from the filter menu at the top of the screen, and then select Gaussian Blur:
Set the Blur radius to 10 pixels.
Finally, we see the result.
