WordPress is a totally free and open source content management system (based on the GPL license) that allows you to easily create a blog, photo blog, podcast, gallery and more. Therefore, the license of all uses of WordPress is completely free, and you can change WordPress safely and serve as a platform for your projects. WordPress has been written by a very popular language (PHP) and uses MySQL to store data.
Sites and Internet pages contain information that contains writing, graphics, video, audio and more. This content is displayed by the user in three layers:
- The content layer (Content) generated by the HTML language
- Presentation layer (Presentation) created by CSS language
Tip: WordPress has been written in PHP, but you do not need to learn the PHP language to build Templates for WordPress, and just use the Template tags in the necessary places.
WordPress uses HTML language
Content layer always exists and contains the information the developer and designer decides to display to the user. This content is encoded as HTML tags between two tags <html> </ html>, and everything that is placed between these two tags will be translated by the translator of this language.
HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) is a standard language and the basis for designing web pages. What you see when you visit an Internet page is the result of translating and interpreting your browser from html code. Html is one of the languages that WordPress uses.
The main task of presentation layer is to convert HTML code to images and text that the user can view in a graphic manner; HTML codes are translated by a variety of browsers and converted to images and texts which are visible to users. CSS or Cascade Style Sheets is a programming language that is used to overcome problems created over time using HTML.
